Based in Parma (Italy), BIT was founded in 2006 by 20 credit unions, the Italian National Association of Credit Unions and Iccrea Holding.

BIT is the link between banks, their clients and experts in the fields of agriculture, energy efficiency and renewable energy sources and provides support to the drafting of bankable projects capable of achieving successful results in terms of economic and environmental sustainability.
