NOEMIX working group is going to enlarge. To date, there are 73 public administrations interested in NOEMIX. They have been contacted by the Region and expressed their interest in activating the green car sharing service in their cities. Soon, these PAs will give rise to a regional "PA panel", that, along with other experts, will have as a main task the evaluation of all the possible solutions proposed for the replacement of PAs’ fleet vehicles.
Noemix, which will start in 2019, will lead Friuli Venezia Giulia to pioneer the adoption of electric vehicles by public administrations in Italy. Along with this, it is meant to raise awareness in citizens of the importance to use electric cars also for urban travels.
These were the topics in the agenda of the project meeting held at the new Area Science Park convention center last October the 15^th.
Representatives of all project partners (Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, University of Trieste, ANIASIA, BIT Energia, Promoscience and Area Science Park) attended the meeting.
First, Area presented updates of the current situation analysis and next actions to be taken. Partners have mapped where future charging stations for electric vehicles and photovoltaic systems could be placed. Market trends have been studied, and with them also a few future scenarios concerning electric vehicles, and the rates and incentives for the use of the charging stations.
Along with the concepts of centralised e-car sharing and leasing, with all that is needed for their management (i.e. softwares), Noemix will go further and, aiming at enlarging the number of clean energy users, will promote the installation of charging stations and infrastructures for the production of energy from renewable sources.
